Born in Michigan, Kyoko lived an abnormal life from the start. Her mother was bipolar and her father didn't know how to handle it, so the young Kyoko would often shut herself up in her room. Her stand, Sweet Emotion, first manifested after an argument with her mom when she was six, though they were much smaller and less developed. The Sato family moved to Japan when Kyoko was eight, where they lived in Sendai. At sixteen years old, Kyoko ran away from home, eventually finding herself in Morioh. With some help from the locals, including Josuke and Jotaro, Sweet Emotion was able to reach their full potential.
Kyoko is an optimistic young woman. They can see the good in anyone, even after someone's wronged them multiple times. As such, they can be seen as naïve; however, make no mistake: Kyoko has endured their fair share of pain. They simply look on the bright side of life.
Diagnosed with a plethora of mental illnesses, from ADHD, GAD, nightmare disorder, and possibly PTSD, Kyoko may shut down when overwhelmed. She tends to mask her true emotions with humor. She's well aware of the irony that she can be so in-tune with the feelings of others... yet unable to control her own feelings.
Stand Info: Sweet Emotion
Sweet Emotion can summon spectral silver arms that can attack an enemy with a barrage of punches. Their most potent power, however, comes in the ability to manipulate emotions with the masks they can create. Kyoko can also sense the emotions and presences of others; this manifests as a silver glow around their hands.
Sweet Emotion: Under Pressure occurs when Kyoko is feeling exceptionally stressed, sad, angry, or fearful. Her body will glow silver, and after a moment, she will explode with light. Anyone in a two-meter radius of this explosion will be thrown back and stunned, possibly even knocked out.
